BUILDING SYSTEMS THAT LAST
There is nothing I find more exciting than picking a question that I don't know the answer to and embarking on a quest for answers. It's deeply satisfying to climb into the boat, like Lewis and Clark, and head west, saying, "We don't what we'll find when when we get there, but we'll be sure to let you know when we're back."
This quote by Jim Collins in Good to Great captures my curiosity for working with systems, teams, and organizations to discover how they can best create meaningful, sustainable impact. My passion is amplified when working in pivotal areas such as education and leadership.
An understanding of the system you're working within combined with a strategy gives you the tools to have a high level of impact. Building better systems to solve problems and serve others through a mastery of culture, community, and systems thinking is what I'm passionate about. This framework has been crafted through a combination of education and experience, which intersects my 5+ years of working for a national governing body, serving in leadership roles for nonprofit associations, and ongoing formal education.
Getting an organization's goals, metrics, assets, and people to align with a common goal is an uncommon but amazing thing. I love working with organizations to accomplish this synchrony within their teams and programs by understanding the system they operate within and identifying how to best influence it.

FROM POSSIBILITY TO ACTUALITY
BRINGING IDEAS TO LIFE SUSTAINABLY
Working with teams to brainstorm, refine, and model their understanding of the system they're working in and how to best influence it is an amazing thing. Doing foundational work to understand and model the system you're working in prevents breakdowns while building sustainability. These models can then be used as a reference to create programs, products and organizations that have long-lasting impact.
